지난 6월 19일, 여성연합 상투메 프린시페 본부는 수도인 상투메에서 2달간의 프로젝트인 ‘도움이 필요한 사람들에게 도움의 손길을’ 캠페인을 발족하였다. 이번 캠페인은 옷과 음식, 생필품 등 다양한 기부를 받아서 도움이 필요한 사람들에게 제공하는 것이다. 현재 많은 물품들을 기증 받았으며, 사람들의 지속적인 참여를 바라고 있다. 이번 발족식은 상투메 내 모든 텔레비전에 방송되었으며, 라디오, 신문, 잡지 매체와 인터뷰도 하였다.

"A Hand for Those in Need" Campaign

On June 19, WFWP Sao Tome launched a 2-month project called "A Hand for Those in Need". This campaign receives donations such as clothes, non-perishable foods, daily necessaries and places to stay and offers them to people in need. Already we have received many donations and more are expected to come. A launching ceremony of this campaign was broadcast on all Sao Tome's media, and WFWP held  interviews with radio, newspapers and magazines.
