아르헨티나 여성연합 회장과 수상여성들

지난 3월 14일, 여성연합 아르헨티나 지부에서는 ‘세계 여성의 날’ 기념행사를 부에노스 아이레스의 평화대사 본부에서 80명이 모인 가운데 개최했다.

이날 여성연합에서는 타 지역 사회 공동체와 함께 봉사했던 4명의 여성들에게 그 공로를 치하하는 시간을 가졌다. 이 여성들은 아르헨티나 마을과 문화적 군사적 목적으로 비슷한 마을을 찾아 연결하는 ONG 리더인 Ms. Elena paniauga씨이며, 여성 소방수 자원봉사자인 Ms. Estela Rutibeytia, 그리고 매우 적극적으로 아르헨티나의 이주민 공동체를 이끄는 Ms. Magna Abad, 남극점의 과학적 지식을 기반으로 한 생활의 경험을 공유한 저서 “남극의 하얀 사막의 여성 탐험”의 저자인 Ms. Monica Garicia가 그들이다.

Rosetta Conti de Castellon 회장(아르헨티나 여성연합)은 한학자 총재의 활동을 프레젠테이션으로 청중에게 소개했다.

이후 Carols Varga 회장(아르헨티나 세계평화통일가정연합)은 축사를 통해 남성과 여성은 동등하다는 것에 중점을 두어 메시지를 전했다.

아름다운 예술 공연이 여성연합 회원자녀들의 합창과 아르헨티나와 칠레 민속 예술, 그리고 일본 회원들의 전통춤으로 꾸며졌다.

아르헨티나 여성연합 회원들은 수제 쿠키를 만들어 제공함으로서 행사를 마무리 했다.

Latin Amercia – WFWP Argentina Chapter INTERNATIONAL WOMEN`S DAY  2013

On March 14, 2013 the WFWP Argentine Chapter started the annual activities with the celebration of the International Women`s Day at the Peace Embassy headquarter in Buenos Aires.

As usual, we took the opportunity of this day to distinguish four women that showed a real compromise with their community, attending and serving others. The distinguished women were Mrs. Elena Paniagua, leader of the ONG “ Ciudades Hermanas” ( Twin Towns) which connects Argentine towns with their homologous around the world, for cultural and solidarity purposes; Mrs. Estela Rutibeytia, voluntary firewoman, Mrs. Magna Abad, very active with immigrant communities in Argentina, and Mrs. Monica Garcia , as “Expeditionary Woman of the white desert of Antarctica” that shared her experience living in a scientific base of the Antarctic pole.                      Rev. Moon Autobiography books were presented to the guests.

Mrs. Rosetta Conti de Castellòn, as president of the Argentine chapter, introduced Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon as Universal Women, to the audience, through a slides display of her biography. 

Mr. Carlos Varga, as president of the argentine FFWP, offered a congratulatory message focusing the equality between man and woman according the unificationist vision.

One lady professor presented to the WFWP team a book , that she published under the title “ Women and Something Else” in which she included the biography of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. 

There were beautiful artistic performances by 2nd gen. members of the FFWP choir, by Argentine and Chilean folkloric artists and by our Japanese members with a typical dance of their country.

Blessed sisters helped offering hand made cookies for the final refreshment. 

In the northern region of Argentina, Mrs. Norma Banegas Alcaraz, the WFWP representative in Tucuman, held also a commemorative celebration for the International Women Day gathering women at the Firemen headquarter of that city, being the president of this voluntary corps a woman Embassador for Peace.
