룩셈부르크 지부는 ‘영원한 평화를 위한 새로운 비전’ 이란 주제를 가지고 지난 6월 24일 룩셈부르크의 NH 호텔에서 원리 세미나가 개최했다.

이번 행사는 룩셈브르크 여성연합과 천주평화연합이 공동으로 개최하였으며 총 34명이 참여 하였다..

지난 2010년에 한국의 리틀엔젤스가 공연을 했을 때 1,353명이 참석하였으며 그 중에는 57명의 국회의원들과 13명의 정부 장관들이 초대되었는데, 2012년 이번 행사에는 이들 중 17명의 고위 관리들이 참석했다. 리틀엔젤스 공연을 적극 지원했던 룩셈부르크의 국무총리는 바쁜 스케쥴 때문에 참석하지 못한 것을 애석하게 생각하며 편지를 보내오기도 했다.

UPF의 Paul씨와 WFWP의 Reinhild Frank씨의 간단한 행사소개에 이어 벨지움에서 온 Mr. Hugo Veracx 씨의 역동적인 창조원리 강의가 모닝세션으로 구성되었고, 오후 세션에서는 룩셈부르크의 Dr. Frank Kaufmann씨가 국제적 활동과 여성연합의 공동 창시자이신 문선명 총재의 자서전에 대한 강의로 진행되었다..

이번 세미나를 개최하면서 룩셈브르크 여성연합과 천주평화연합 관계자들은 참석한 룩셈부르크 사회의 중요한 인사들과 미래에도 지속적인 사회활동을 열어가길 소망했다.

EUROPE - New vision for a lasting peace

On Sunday 24th June, 2012, we held a 1 day DP seminar to which the approximately 1,353 people who were invited to the Little Angels performance in 2010, 57 parliamentarians and 13 government ministers were invited. The prime minister of Luxembourg, who actively supported the Little Angels event, sent us a letter regretting that his busy schedule prevented him from attending. In the end we had 17 guests for a total participation of 34 people.

Following a short introduction to UPF and WFWP by Paul and Reinhild Frank, The morning session consisted of 2 lectures on the Principle of Creation given very dynamically by Mr Hugo Veracx from Belgium, who really captured the attention and opened the hearts of the participants. The afternoon session was given over to our Boon Bang Wang, Dr Frank Kaufmann, who gave presentations on the international activities of the unification movement and True Father’s autobiography.

David Foka, Secretary General of Pax Christi Luxembourg, gave a short presentation of his organisation whose international conference had recently taken place in Luxembourg. Dr. Dana Rufolo, a drama therapist and long-time contact of WFWP was appointed Ambassador for Peace.

This seminar was the fruit of a major project involving a very large mailing and distribution of True Father’s autobiography to many important people in Luxembourg. Also, many of those attending were notables in Luxembourg society and long-term contacts of Paul Frank. We hope to build on this foundation in the future
