2월 18일, 40여명의 미국 여성연합 각 지역 임원들은 조지아 Tybee 섬에서 3일 수련회를 가졌다.

올해는 라는 주제로 ‘전문적인, 책임감 있는, 목표가 있는 지도자가 되자’ 라는 목표를 두고 진행 되었다. 수련일정은 간단한 명상과 스트레칭, WFWP 설립자의 말씀 훈독, 진행 중인 프로젝트 및 봉사활동 계획을 보고, 새로운 회원 가입과 참여에 대한 방법 논의 등으로 이루어졌다.

지도자들은 지역사회에서 온라인상의 홍보 방법과 신입 회원 가입 및 기금의 대체 수단을 논의했다.

WFWP USA - Women of Action Come Together"Deeper and Wider 2011 Retreat"

On February 18, more than 40 excited WFWP District Representatives assembled from around the nation for the annual three-day retreat in Tybee Island, Georgia. This year’s session “Deeper and Wider,” gave an overall focus on becoming more professional, accountable and goal-oriented.

The daily agenda consisted of short physical and spiritual exercises, reading WFWP Founder’s words, reporting ongoing projects and outreach initiatives, and developing innovative ways to get new members involved. The chairwomen discussed how to build publicity online and in the community, sign up new members, and obtain alternative means of funding.
