여성연합 이탈리아지부는 20주년을 기념하여 4월 11일, 버가모(Bergamo)지역에서 자축의 화동 시간을 가졌다.

약 25명이 참석한 이날 이벤트는 여성연합 이탈리아 지부에서 일부 지원을 받았으며 참석한 회원들의 지원으로 진행되었다.

회원들은 조촐한 식사를 함께 나눴으며 ‘우리는 지금 어디로 가고 있나?(Where do we go now?)’ 라는 영화 시청 후 서로의 의견을 나누면서 여성연합의 앞으로의 발전을 기원하면서 20주년 기념 축하의 시간을 즐겼다.

Held the enjoyable time through eating Pizza and watching movie at Bergamo community.

In order to take time to be together and celebrate happily the 20th anniversary of foundation of WFWP International about 25 WFWP Italian people gathered in a pizzeria, then in the cinema “Conca verde” in Bergamo area in the evening of April, 11.

The Pizza was really delicious and the people have seen the film “Where do we go now?” Film maker by Nadine Labki.

It tells the story of a remote, isolated unnamed Lebanese village inhabited by both Muslims and Christians.

The village is surrounded by land mines and only reachable by a small bridge. As civil strife engulfed the country, the women in the village learn of this fact and try, by various means and to varying success, to keep their men unaware of the civil war in the country; anyway as the village is slowly drawn into violence, the women get along beautifully and conspire together to keep their men from fighting!

(this film has won the Ecumenical Special Mentions during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival).
