2014년 4월 4일, 모스코바의 센트럴 칠드런스 컬쳐럴 하우스에서 제1회 그림 그리기 대회 ‘컬러스 오브 더 드림’이 개최되었다. 이 대회는 ‘빌리브 인 유어 드림’ 자선기금의 주최로, 여성연합이 공식파트너로 함께 하여 케냐, 콩고, 일본, 홍콩 등 세계 등지의 어린이들을 초청하였다. 이번 대회에는 대부분이 장애를 가지거나 고아인 어린이 200여명이 참가하였다. 러시아 여성연합은 어려움을 가진 어린이들이 스스로 가치 있고 필요한 존재라는 것을 깨닫게 하는 목적으로 대회를 준비하였으며, 특히 이날 행사에는 콩고 대사관의 제1 비서가 함께 하였으며 모든 참석자들에게 수료증과 선물을 수여하였다. 이후 어린이들을 위한 콘서트를 준비하여 여성연합 회원 자녀들로 구성된 ‘평화의 천사들’ 합창단이 함께 하여 한국과 일본 노래를 불러 관객들에게 색다른 경험을 선사하기도 했다.

모스크바 학교 어린이들이 기증한 물품(장난감, 옷가지)도 이 날 케냐와 콩고 어린이들에게 전달하였다.

NER – Russia Holds the 1st International Drawing Contest, ‘Colors of the Dream’

On April 4, 2014 the 1st International Drawing Contest, ‘Colors of the Dream’, was held in the Central Children’s Cultural House in Moscow. This contest was initiated by the Charity Fund ‘Believe in  Your  Dream’, and the WFWP became an official partner in holding this contest and made this contest international by inviting children from Kenya, Congo, Japan and Hong Kong. More than 200 children participated, and most of them were disabled and without parents.

It is very important to help such children feel valued and needed.

We were very happy that the 1st Secretary of the Embassy of Congo came to take part in this event.

All children received diplomas and presents, and there was a wonderful concert especially prepared for them. The WFWP members’ children ensemble ‘Angels of Peace’ sang Korean and Japanese songs, and it was very interesting and unique for the audience.

56 kg of presents collected by Moscow school children were sent to Kenya and Congo.
