2014년 1월 11일, 리투아니아 여성연합은 리투아니아의 수도 빌뉴스의 시티 게이트 호텔에서 “강한 사회를 만들기 위한 여성들의 협력”이란 주제 아래 신년회의를 가졌다. 이번 회의에는 여성연합 회원을 비롯하여 새롭게 연결된 8개 NGO 단체를 대표한 22명의 여성들과 여성연합 임원들이 참석하였다. 여성연합을 대표하여 로마 카라제지안(Roma Karagezian)의 환영사가 있었으며, 이어 여성연합의 세계적인 활동에 대한 발표와 UPF 자크 마리온(Jacques Marion)의 가정교육의 기본이란 연설이 있었다. 이어 각 참여 단체들의 자기소개와 앞으로 어떻게 협력할 것인지 방법론에 대한 토론을 가졌으며 또한 이날 참석한 여러 단체들이 앞으로 여성연합과 협력해 나갈 것을 표명하였다.

NER- Lithuania, Vilnius  “Women Cooperating for a Stronger Society”

On January 11, 2014 WFWP-Lithuania held a New Year’s Meeting titled “Women Cooperating for a Stronger Society” at the City Gate Hotel in Vilnius.

Including WFWP members, 22 women representing 8 different NGOs who newly contacted us and our members’ acquaintances attended. Ms. Roma Karagezian, representing WFWP-Lithuania, gave the welcoming remarks and Mr. Jacques Marion from the UPF spoke on “The Basics of Family Education.” And then the NGOs’ representatives were invited to introduce themselves one by one, and discuss possible ways of cooperation. All of them expressed their will to cooperate with the WFWP in the future.
