지난 6월 29일, 아프리카 콩고 브라자빌레 본부는 호텔 피닉스 가든에서 ‘여성시대’란 주제로 세미나를 열렸다. 이번 세미나에는 여성 성직자, 성직자의 부인들을 비롯한 다양한 종교의 여성 지도자들이 함께한 가운데 세계화합과 여성의 역할과 중요성에 대하여 논의 하는 시간이 되었다.

총 다섯 개의 주제발표로 진행된 세미나는 먼저 여성연합 콩고 본부의 취반다 부안가 브리지트 씨가 콩고를 비롯한 전 세계에서 진행되고 있는 여성연합의 활동과 목적에 대해 설명하였다.

시코모르 교회의 사모인 엔둘루 타니아 씨가 ‘사회에서의 여성의 자리’와 ‘성경에서의 여성’ 이란 주제로 발표하였으며, 프와티 솔로 물랑가 캐롤라인 회장(여성연합 콩고 본부)이 ‘여성의 존엄성과 그들의 참사랑’이 어떻게 세계를 변화시킬 수 있는지에 대해 강연했다.

마지막으로 박상선 특사(콩고)가 ‘종교의 통일’에 대해 이야기하며 ‘진정한 통일은 개인의 몸과 마음, 남편과 아내, 부모와 자녀의 화합으로부터 온다.’고 강조하였다.

이후 12명의 새로운 여성평화대사 임명식이 있었으며, 이 날 행사는 국영 티비 채널에서 촬영을 했으며, 이 날 뉴스에 방송되었다.

Seminar with Women from different religions, "The Era of Women"

On June 29, WFWP Congo Brazzaville held a seminar on "The Era of Women," at the Hotel Phoenix Garden. Women pastors, pastors' wives and women from different religions were invited to work together for the unification of the world and emphasize the importance of women's role in this era.

Five lectures were presented.
First speaker, Mrs. Tchibanda Bouanga Brigitte from WFWP Congo, explained the purpose and activities of WFWPI.Mrs. Ndoulou Tania, wife of the Sycomore Church pastor gave lectures on "The Place of Women in Society" and "Women in the Bible".

Next speaker, Pwati Solo Mulanga Caroline, President of WFWP Congo, gave a talk on "The dignity of women and their true love". She explained how we can change the world through true love.

The last speaker was a special envoy of FFWPU, who spoke on "Unification of Religions". He emphasized the real sense of unification coming through harmony between mind and body, husband and wife, and finally parents and children.

After all of the lectures, we had a ceremony to appoint 12 new women AFP's.
