케냐 여성연합은 3월8일 오후, 을 맞이하여 브라마 쿠마리스 세계영성 대학교에서 기념식을 가졌다.

라탄 케이 찬나 회장(케냐 종교연합)은 ‘여성들이 그들의 삶에서 성공하기 위해 또한 평화적이고 번영한 사회와 국가를 건설하기 위해서는 어떠한 태도를 취하여야 하는지에 대한 여성의 도전’에 대하여 강연하였다.

수잔 콘 회장(케냐 여성연합)은 ‘우리의 몸과 마음의 부정적인 에너지를 날려버리고, 어떻게 남을 위하여 살 것인지에 대하여’말하였다.

국제연합환경계획위원회 소속 실비 컴페네 강사는 브라마 쿠마리스 세계영성 대학교 임원과 함께 그녀의 암 극복에 대한 도전과 선구자적인 임부, 경험담을 전달하였다.

The event went from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University.

The first speaker Mrs. Rattan K. Channa — chairperson of the United Religions Initiative - Kenya gave a speech about the challenges women go through and what kind of attitude they need to adopt in order to be successful in their lives as well as to contribute towards building a peaceful and prosperous society and nation. Mrs. Susan Kone, WFWP Kenya, was the second speaker.

She spoke about letting go the negative energy or things that we do not need in our physical and spiritual lives and how we can live for the sake of others by giving and serving others. The third speaker, Mrs. Sylvie Compaigne of UNEP, gave her own experience of how she overcame and was healed of cancer. The director of the BKSU gave testimony of how she started her mission with the spirit of pioneering, and explained how she overcame challenges with sheer determination and deep faith.
