3월 8일, 세계 여성의 날 기념행사를 평화대사관에서 열었다. 이날 사회는 말레이시아 여성연합의 림 레이 홍(Lim Lay Hong) 부회장 맡았으며, 환영사엔 리나 챙(Lina Cheng) 회장이 개회사는 가정연합의 야마다 유타카(Yutaka Yamada) 목사가 주었다. 한국 전통 춤과 일본 노래 등 축하공연이 이어졌으며, 특별히 웡 메이 신(Wong May Syn)을 초청하여 ‘자기개발과 행복의 예술’에 대한 특강으로 진행되었다.

Asia-Malaysia Hosts an International Women’s Day Commemorative Event

On March 8, the International Women’s Day Commemorative Event was held at the Peace Embassy. The event was emceed by Vice-President Lim Lay Hong of WFWP-Malaysia, the welcoming address was delivered by President Lina Chengand the opening address was given by Rev. Yutaka Yamada of the FFWPU. The addresses were followed by celebratory performances, including a Korean traditional dance and Japanese songs, and in particular Mrs. Wong May Syn was invited to give a special lecture on ‘Self- Development and the Art of Being Happy’.
