9월 12일 뉴욕, 포킵시에 있는 존 플라워씨의 생방송 라디오 토크쇼에 SAFE대표인 루크 히구치씨와 미국 여성연합 회장인 안젤리카 셀레 회장(미국지부), SAFE 대표이자 여성연합 고문인 이치코 수도씨, 여성연합 지역 임원인 도로씨 힐씨가 공동으로 출연했다.

이 방송은 평균 100,000의 청취자가 있으며 뉴욕 주와 그 이상으로 많은 사람들이 청취하는 프로그램 중 하나이다.

이 방송은 루크 히구치 SAFE의 회장과 미국 여성연합 회장인 안젤리카 셀레에게 종교적 납치 감금 피해자들을 위해 펼친 활동에 대한 감사함을 표하기 위한 자리였다. 약 2시간에 걸쳐 이야기가 진행되었다. 시작은 도로씨 힐의 납치감금에 대한 이야기로 이어졌다. 특히 도로씨 힐은 미국에서 종교 납치 감금의 희생자 중 한 명이었다.

라디오 쇼의 진행자인 플라워씨는 출연자들 모두에게 따뜻한 배려를 해 주었다. 무거운 주제였지만 그의 매끄러운 진행 덕분에 출연자들은 자연스럽게 일본에서 이미 벌어진 납치 감금 사건에 대한 이야기를 전할 수 있었다.

안젤리카 셀레 회장은 일본의 많은 여성들이 종교적 압박으로 희생당한 이야기를 소개하며 많은 여성 청취자들에 종교적 이유로 인한 강제 납치 감금사건으로 정신적 또는 육체적 피해를 본 여성들을 도와 줄 수 있도록 힘을 더해달라고 호소했다.

라디오 사회자인 존 플라워씨는 본인이 평화대사이며 문 총재님을 만났던 경험을 전하며 진심으로 그분들의 평화운동에 대해 존경한다고 말했다.

On September 12, Mr. Luke Higuchi, chairman of SAFE (Survivors Against Forced Exit), Mrs. Angelika Selle who is representing WFWP USA and Ichiko Sudo (representing SAFE and WFWP's Advisory Board), and Dorothy Hill, who is local WFWP chairwoman for that area visited Mr. John Flower’s radio broadcasting station.

Mr. Flower, his program can reach up to 100,000 listeners, including high officials in the state of New York and beyond.

This talk show’s purpose was thanks to Mr. Luke Higuchi, chairman of SAFE and Angelika Selle, chairwomen of WFWP USA for their activity of religious kidnapping victims.

Talk show was spread almost two hours.

Started with Dorothy Hill’s story. Especially, she was also a victim of kidnapping in the U.S.

Mr. Flower skillfully prompted each of us to speak in a very natural and conversational way from the heart. Issue of religious kidnapping in Japan is in spite of the rather heavy topic we were addressing throughout the show.

Mrs. Angelika Selle asked women listeners to help us give a voice to the women victims in Japan, and all of whom had been emotionally and mentally abused.

Mr. John Flower, who is also an Ambassador for Peace and truly respects our Founders, said at one point, "I met Rev. and Mrs. Moon twice and even spent some time with them in their home. I deeply respect their work for peace."
